CTC 002: Big Boggy National Wildlife Refuge

Access to this refuge, part of the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge (NWR)
complex, is located along FM 521 between Sargent and Matagorda in Matagorda County. Continue west on FM 521 from Sargent until reaching Chinquapin Road, turn left (south) on Chinquapin Road, and then drive by Big Boggy NWR to Chinquapin Landing. This refuge is closed to the public, although day trips are periodically offered by the refuge staff. Contact the Brazoria NWR staff in Angleton for information about arranging for visitation.
