Chocolate Flower
Scientific Name: (Berlandiera lyrata)
Definition: Often called Green Eyes, Chocolate flower grows in Central and West Texas on rocky limestone soils. When the yellow ray flowers drop, the green sepals underneath look like eyes. Chocolate flower blooms from June to October.
