Goldenrod
Scientific Name: (Solidago spp.)
Definition: A much-maligned plant, Goldenrod is mistakenly thought to cause hay fever. The real culprit, ragweed, blooms at the same time. Texas has over 30 species of goldenrod, most of which flower in late summer and fall.
