Scientific Name: (Agave lechugilla)
Definition: Requires 12 - 15 years to mature and produce its stalk. Large flower stalk grows up to 15 feet. Unbranched and flexible, it often bends when heavy with buds and blossoms. Purple or yellow flowers in early Spring. March - April.
