Rainbow Cactus
Scientific Name: (Echinocereus pectinatus)
Definition: Spiny cylindrical variety of cactus of the
southwestern United States and Mexico. Notaable for its showy magenta
flowers. Grows along and erect to 14 inches high in the shape of a flattened
cylinder. Blooms throughout spring and possibly longer, depending on moisture.
