Scientific Name: (Scutellaria drummondii)
Definition:
Skullcap belongs to the Mint family (Lamiaceae). Described as short lived perennial or annual. Low, upright to ab it of a sprawl. Grows 8-12" on solitary stem. Flower about 1/2", blue-violet to purple. Bloom is 2 lipped. Lower lip has 3 lobes, the center lobe showing a conspicuos white spot dotted with purple. Many flowers grow on plant with the upper leaves. Blooms February - November.
